UCEGI

Scope

The Ushakov Center for Governance Innovation is conceived as a research centre in the framework of THE GEOLAB INSTITUTE for area and comparative studies maintaining the character of a specialized program on Russia and Greece; indeed the main focus of UCEGI work and research is based on political, economic and social developments in Russia, Greece and Europe, concentrating mainly on the Russian-Greek political, cultural and religious relations. In this framework the Center focuses on the research for new and innovative approaches of governance facing the challenges of the 21st century.

USHAKOV CENTER for GOVERNANCE INNOVATION [UCEGI]

UCEGI is established in order to support the long, deep and multilevel relations between Russia and Greece and to develope -as an independent research unit or academic research programme- the vast range of themes and topics of the Russian-Hellenic relations, the Russian Policy in the Mediterranean basin and even the Russian presence globally. Additionally UCEGI is researching on national and global governance issues.
