Geolab through GeoAgriCulture program is engaging in the management of tourism and cultural heritage, integral part of which is agriculture

On Monday 9th 2013, στις 18.30 an event was organised in Corfu on the Certification of the Corfiot agriculture products in the framework of the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). The event was organised by the Region of Ionian Islands, the Ionian University, the Chamber of Corfu and the Economic Chamber and the "ELGO-DEMETRA" Public Organisation. The Ionian University was represented by the Director of GEOLAB Associate Professor Stavros Katsios, Vice-Rector of the Ionian University who discussed the support role of the Ionian University in the management of cultural heritage integral part of which is concidered to be agriculture. Guest speaker was the Professor of Athens Agriculture University Mr. Serko Charoutounian Chairman of ELGO-DEMETRA.
